ANGLO ORIENTAL SCHOOL

INTRODUCTION

ANGLO ORIENTAL SCHOOL was established in March 1997 in sector I-10/2, Islamabad with the vision of “Research, Discover and Serve” as inspired by the Quran command “Observe & Research into what lies in the Heaven and the Earth”, Surrah Younas, Ayat 100. The basic concept behind our vision was to establish a school to provide a decent, affordable and quality education in light of Islamic values. We started off as a small setup providing schooling from playgroup till class 5 and today we are proudly providing schooling up to matriculation.

The school was gradually upgraded from Primary Level to Middle Level in 2002 & then to Matriculation Level in 2005.The matriculation level of the school got affiliation with the Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Islamabad in 2008 (both for Science & Humanities Group) & since then produced excellent results upto 97% marks. There are separate classes for boys & girls from Class-VII to Class-X. The school has been publishing its annual magazine “Nida-e-Anglo” since 2012.

Functions organized by the school

The school has been organizing main functions on regular basis during the academic session which includes Science Exhibition, Sports Day, Quid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal Days, Pakistan Defense Day, Mehfil-e-Milad, Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony etc.
It is the serving the lower middle class of the community. The AOS is offering fee concession for deserving poor class of the community. The AOS is also offering scholarship for the talented students as well.
The aim of the AOS is to impart quality education along with character building of the young generation, the passions for reading books, inculcate in the students a love for their country Pakistan, interest in the co-curricular activities so as to make them the best member of the society in light of the Islamic values. The school is striving to impart education of Quran & Hadith and in this regard to learn Arabic language right from Montessori Level.

OBJECTIVE STATEMENT

THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF EDUCATION IS THE PREPARATION OF STUDENTS FOR THE FUTURE LIFE AS THE BEST MEMBER OF THE HUMAN FAMILY IN LIGHT OF THE ISLAMIC VAULES. SUCH A PREPARATION DEMANDS FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT, STIMULATION FOR INQUIRTY, CRITICAL THINKING, CREATIVE ENDEAVOURS AND INITIATIVE FOR RESEARCH AND DISCOVERY INTO WHAT THE ALLAH SO FONDLY CREATD FOR US. FURTHERMORE AIM OF THE SCHOOL IS TO IMPART UNDERSTANDING OF QURAN AND HADITH ALONGWITH UNDERSTANDING OF ARABIC.

FOR THIS PURPOSE WE ENDEAVOUR:

  1. TO CREATE A FRIENDLY AND STIMULATING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH EACH INDIVIDAUL CHILD IS ABLE TO DEVELOP SKILLS, CONCEPTS, ATTITUDES AND GAIN KNOWLEDGE.
  2. TO ABLE THE CHILD TO UNDERSTAND THE SCIENTIFIC CONCEPTS THROUGH A VARIETY OF MODERN APPROPROACHES OF EDUCATION USING AUDIO VISUAL AIDS AND COMPUTERS.
  3. TO INCULCATE IN THE CHILD MORAL VALUERS, GOOD BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT TO BE THE BEST MEMBER OF SOCIETY.
  4. TO DEVELOP THE CHILD SOCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
  5. TO DEVELOP AN AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF OUR ENVIRONMENT.
